Creative Caregiving

The City of Daytona Beach Shores is partnering with Atlantic Center for the Arts to offer a Creative Caregiving program for caregivers and their care partners. Registration is now open for this free program, with each session limited to 20 people (10 pairs of caregivers with care partner – CNA/HHA welcome). The next session will be Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m., from July 12 to Aug. 16 at the Shores Community Center.

Caregiving for a loved one is a journey of joy and difficulty. Participants will learn how to connect mind, body and spirit by using the arts as a tool of self-care, social interaction and lifelong learning. Atlantic Center for the Arts ambassador Sonja Jean Craig presents a fun, uplifting gathering of caregivers and care partners. She welcomes those who wish to understand how creativity can benefit life on a daily basis.

No experience necessary, and art supplies will be provided. Call 386-281-3000 to register.
