Approval & Registration

All City social media sites shall be:

  • Approved by the City Manager
  • Published using approved social media platforms and tools
  • Administered by the moderator or their designee
  • Registered to a City employee's email address
  • Adhere to applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and policies

In addition, all City social media sites shall comply with Section 668.6076, Florida Statutes, requiring the following notice: Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing as such required notice may be amended from time-to-time.
