The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is comprised of a sergeant, plus detectives, and an analyst/crime scene technician. The CID is under the command of a lieutenant, and ultimately the Director of Public Safety.

Link to pageThe Patrol Division’s Public Safety Officer is the first responder to the scene of all police, fire, and emergency medical calls within the city. The same officer may respond to a crime, motor vehicle accident, medical call, and fire service call all within the same shift. There are 28 full-time sworn officers assigned to this division as well as 13 part-time officers and/or firefighters.
