Zoning & Future Land Use Maps

The zoning district in which a property is located determines the permitted uses and development regulations that are applied to new development and businesses pursuant to the City’s Land Development Code. Future land use classifications provide the City’s general future development intent for a given area for the time frame determined by the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Therefore, zoning districts must be compatible with the future land use classification prescribed by the Comprehensive Plan.
